Free Satellite TV!

I'm constantly being bombarded with ads for satellite TV deals, and cable TV along with long distance packages. Is there a deal that's cheaper or better in the long run? How should I evaluate which is best for me?

Pick the channels you like, not the total # of channels. Cable can have signal problems with static or in problems with digital channels coming in which are unfixable. Satellite is about useless in heavy rain and can ruin the look of your house.

I am trying to watch international television online, like Argentinian, Brasilian, French, and Mexican television online by using one of the satellite TV online deals. Does anyone know what the best companies or deals are? Has anyone used these services? Please answer!!!!

Here is a review of best satellite tv online, they are all top voted, so you can try one of them.

I'm thinking about switching from cable tv to satellite. I've heard the best two companies to choose from are Direct TV and Dish Network, but which one is better?

Dish Network is HANDS DOWN the best Satellite TV provider in the country. I tried DirectTV and there's just no comparison. Dish Network has more channels, better picture quality, better customer support, and the installation and equipment is free (unlike with DirecTV). I just can't say enough good things about them.

If you use the link below to sign up, you can get a free DVR or HD/DVR:

That deal is only good for a limited time though, so don't miss out.

I want to be able to watch cable or satellite channels without having to pay the huge bills that I pay right now to Dish Network. I want to be able to watch the channels for free on my television. Also I live in Arizona and would love to be able to see all the live NFL games on Sundays for free on my tv or on my computer as long as I get a clear crisp picture on the computer because on the computer, I noticed that the pics get blurry sometimes even though I do have high speed internet. Watching on a television is much clearer and crisper. Why is that? Email me the details. Thanks

And people in hell want ice water! Isn't going to happen. No free lunch, especially for free loaders like you.

Hi,
I'm wondered,if there is a way to watch satellite tv channels for free in the US without beign a subscriber to a local cable or Satellite TV company>
I've been to Europe and my friends had some kind of pirate-made cards for receivers to watch satellite tv for free.
Could I buy a satellite system over Ebay?
If yes, could someone suggest me any decent satellite systems on the market?
Thank you

Not legally.

It would be easier to steal cable, but I don't recommend it.

There seems to be so many sites out there offering free satellite TV. Are they legal first of all? And can anyone recommend one to me?

The free channels include news, bid up and all the crap you wouldnt want to watch.
If you want sport then use this link everything is 100% free.

I currently have cable. Its pretty good but I don’t really get a lot with the service. I keep getting ads in the mail about really good deals when you switch to satellite tv. I was wondering if these were a good way to get into the satellite world or whether I should just go directly to the satellite companies themselves as the ads seem to be from contractors.

Also which of the two is better DishNetwork or Directv?

I don’t have hd so that doesn’t matter. I would however like a DVR.

Thanks

The best way to get satellite tv is from a local Satellite Dealer. All Dish Network and Directv dealers have to offer the same specials. Local dealers keep money in you community, and you usually get the owner as you installer instead of so guy trying to bang your install out as quick as possible. Find a local satellite tv installer here:

As for what would be better for you, I would say dish network as long as you don’t need the NFL Sunday Ticket. Dish gives you a free 2 room DVR

Main issue here is setting up for timed recordings; in other words, taping programs (including programs on different channels) without the user intervention (aside from setting up the programming of the VCR timer).
It doesn't sound like this is possible. Most of the Satellite TV-to-VCR questions appear to be related to real-time taping, where the user presses the record button on the VCR to tape the immediate broadcast.
Also, the question pertains only to VCR recording, not the built-in DVR recording which is provided with some services.

If you can set your satellite box to tune to a channel (usually requires a non-DVR satellite box with the old timer features) then you set your VCR which is connected to the satellite box to record at the same time (manually syncronize the clock in the VCR to the clock in the satellite box).

Usually you go to the MENU of the satellite box and SELECT the program in the future that you want to RECORD. In a non-DVR model this just tunes the channel.

Then you set up the VCR recording following the method that applies to your VCR for a timed recording.

Subscribing to Cable TV services has become more expensive in my country in Singapore! It costs about US$50 a month for the full package! No kidding!
Therefore, I decide it was not worth paying for it anymore and decide to install a satellite dish instead in order to watch hundreds of tv channels worldwide.
I saw several satellite dishes on sale from ebay but I'm not sure if it will work if I purchase a satellite dish from ebay! I'm afraid it will not allow me to receive hundreds of channels worldwide and just act like an ordinary local antenna!
Is there any genuine satellite dish I can get from the Internet to receive hundreds of tv channels worldwide? I don't really mind about the price if I'm able to watch Satellite TV for life after a one-time payment!
I was not looking for any Satellite PC software! I just want it live on my television!
Your recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Buy a FTA satellite system. Here is a list of free channels available on ASIASAT 3S at 105.5 E.
